I often visit Katsushika Hokusai exhibitions, but this one, "It Was All Hokusai's Doing," was truly exceptional. It featured many paintings I'd never seen before, and I was deeply moved all over again by Hokusai's sheer brilliance. I was genuinely astonished that he created so many works with such modern expressions. Was he truly the originator of manga? His breadth of expression, depth, originality, and overwhelming artistic skill left me utterly absorbed, wanting to see as many paintings as possible until the very end. An exhibition featuring over 400 Hokusai works, including all 15 volumes of the Hokusai Manga, is a rare opportunity. I highly recommend it to art and fine art enthusiasts, manga fans, and anyone who enjoys creating, drawing, or any form of creative expression.
