On the final day of the Neputa Festival, a few floats are burned as a prayer for the souls lost in the Great East Japan Earthquake. Also, all the floats that performed during the festival gather together, so look for your favorite one! Hirosaki's Neputa floats are also notable for the dazzling beauty of the rear farewell paintings.
