Brooklyn Beach, an American bar where the owner of the top-notch Sasebo burger joint Bronx Burg used to manage. It's a place frequented by the local U.S. Navy folks, but its motto is being welcoming to everyone. I was stuffed from the amazing izakaya Sasai Zumi, but I just had to go, so I forced my way in. It was around 10:30 PM on a weekday, so at first, there were no Navy folks or Japanese people, and I had the place to myself. The craft beer was delicious!! And the volume of the fish and chips! It was a crazy amount for a stomach already 95% full lol. But it was incredibly tasty. No wonder it's popular with the Navy folks – it's the real deal. My stomach felt like it was about to burst, but I finished it all. The super stylish interior is apparently handmade! Amazing.
