For the best Sanuki buckwheat noodles, head to Tanigawa Rice Store in Kagawa
During my trip to Kagawa, just as I was enjoying more and more of the delicious Sanuki udon, a taxi driver happened to ask me, "Have you tried the bukkake udon at Tanigawa Rice Store?" When I said no, he replied, "That won't do. It's just down this road. Shall we stop by?" And he even offered to wait for us while we ate. Taking him up on his offer, and completely unaware at the time that Tanigawa Rice Store was one of Kagawa's top-tier shops (meaning, one of Japan's top udon spots), I marveled at what an amazing location it was. I ordered their top recommendation: the bukkake udon + free pickled green chili peppers. Absolutely delicious. Super tasty. The best bukkake udon I've ever had. I'm incredibly grateful to that taxi driver.
