Tamagawa Josui Greenway, Kugayama Area
When walking along the Tamagawa Josui Greenway from the Mitaka direction, the atmosphere changes dramatically around Kugayama. The trees on the opposite side of the canal are lower, allowing more sunlight to filter through, creating a bright and airy impression of the greenway. By mid-November, the autumn foliage was only about 30% at its peak, but benches blend seamlessly with fallen leaves, the paved path is easy to walk on, and it's an area where you'll want to enjoy the walk while listening to music.
